Paediatric Surgery

Pediatric surgery is a subspecialty of surgery involving the surgery of fetuses, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.

The two major subspecialties of pediatric surgery are:

 

 

  • Neonatal surgery
  • Fetal surgery

The various branches of surgery also have pediatric specialties of their own that require specialized training. These include:
